Repairing homes, revitalizing communities, rebuilding lives.

A Year in Review: 2025 Impact Summary

February 9, 2026

We are thrilled to share that last year we were able to help 282 families in our community live in safer and healthier homes. This would not have been possible without the support of our donors, volunteers, and partners. THANK YOU!

Together, we are making a meaningful impact in our community by keeping existing low-income homeowners in their own homes and ensuring those homes are safe, healthy, warm, and dry.

2025 by the Numbers

This past year, we continued to focus on the essential repairs that keep people warm, safe, and dry. Here’s a look at what we accomplished together:

  • 282 homes received services
  • 559 total residents served
  • 116 handyman projects completed
  • 115 health and safety visits conducted
  • 9 substandard mobile homes replaced
  • 293 volunteers engaged
  • 3,508 volunteer hours donated

Critical Repairs That Make a Real Difference

In 2025, we completed 67 roof repairs or replacements and installed 18 accessibility ramps. A sound roof means a family stays warm and dry through an Adirondack winter. A ramp means an elderly neighbor can safely leave — and return to — their own home.

Homeowner Outcomes

100% of homeowners surveyed said they feel safer and more secure in their homes after repairs were completed. 100% of homeowners surveyed said they feel they are at a lower risk of falling in their home after accessibility-related repairs were completed.

Who We Serve

The residents we serve face real and compounding challenges. In 2025, 3 in 5 residents served were seniors (65+) aging in place, and 3 in 4 residents served had at least one disability.

Income Demographics

Over 85% of the residents we helped in 2025 fell below 80% of area median income. Here’s the full breakdown:

  • Extremely Low income (less than 30% AMI): 28.4%
  • Very Low income (31–50% AMI): 32.6%
  • Low income (51–80% AMI): 24.1%
  • Moderate income (80%+): 14.9%

Thank You

To our donors, volunteers, and partners: because of your commitment, we turned funding and labor into dry roofs, stable floors, and homes that are truly safe for our neighbors. We are grateful for every hour, every dollar, and every act of generosity that made 2025 possible.
