The People We Serve

Our mission is rooted in helping neighbors stay in the homes they love. In 2024, our work made a lasting difference in the lives of those who need it most:

  • 36% of homeowners served were aged 65+
  • 66% of households served had at least one household member with a disability
  • 39% of households served were very low-income
  • 74% of households served were extremely low-income

Project Highlights

  • 68 Roofs Repaired or Replaced
“We want to thank you for all the work you did on our home. Most items are for safety and preservation of the house — the roof was definitely needed and 10 sheets of underlayment had to be replaced… we thank you very much for all your help.”

  • 25 Ramps Installed
“Your services have given me a chance of a healthier life, so that I can be mobile… before the ramp, I never got outside even for fresh air… I have been outdoors and even enjoy coffee out on the landing that is beautifully built…”

  • 80+ Accessibility Repairs
“Thank you so much for our generator… it couldn’t have come at a better time, we were without power for 16 hours and the new generator worked flawlessly…”

The Power of Community

This work wouldn’t be possible without your generous support. From hands-on volunteer labor to financial gifts, your support makes all the difference.

We’re especially grateful for the handwritten notes and stories we’ve received—true reminders of the lives changed because of your generosity. Voices of support poured in this year from homeowners and families deeply impacted by the care and kindness of their neighbors.
