We are ALWAYS looking for volunteers – both individuals and groups. We welcome volunteers of all skill levels! Many projects require just two people so if you’re retired, between jobs or have an occasional day free, we could use your help. You’ll be teamed up with an experienced volunteer to work a project commensurate with your skill level.
Volunteers take on active roles to participate in all aspects of our projects, ranging from House Captains who manage the entire repair project to Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts who chip in by making lunches, cleaning up outside or completing other tasks within their abilities. Over the years we see families who come back year after year, not only setting a positive example for their children, but also experiencing the satisfaction of helping someone less fortunate. Typical projects include tasks such as scraping, painting, electrical and plumbing repairs, carpentry work, weather stripping and landscaping.
We have community workdays scheduled in the spring and fall each year, as well as year-round opportunities to volunteer in The Store or answering phones. To volunteer in The Store, please email us at Store@RTSaratoga.org. For all other opportunities, please contact us at Michelle@RTSaratoga.org for more information.
